YOUR ULTIMATE BUSINESS PARTNER
The 2021 Ford Transit is redesigned and ready to work. From the 10-speed automatic transmission and new engine choices to smart technology that helps drive confidence, the new Transit was built with your productivity, comfort and bottom line in mind.
STAY CONNECTED
Sure, the 2021 Ford Transit is tough and capable. But it’s also smart. It’s loaded with technology like our Lane-Keeping System, available Adaptive Cruise Control, FordPass Connect and more to help you feel safe, secure
and connected on the road.
PRE-COLLISION ASSIST WITH AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
We should all drive defensively, but sometimes other people’s lack of attention can create a hazard. This standard feature scans the road ahead and can alert you to potential collisions with vehicles or pedestrians
detected in your path. If an impact becomes imminent and you don’t take corrective action, the brakes can apply automatically. But don’t worry – they’ll only activate if they’re needed.
LANE-KEEPING SYSTEM
It happens. Maybe you’re caught up listening to your favourite podcast or need your morning latte, but you’ve wandered a little too close to the edge of your lane. The standard Lane-Keeping System can help you stay in
your lane, even during a moment of distraction. This smart feature scans your vehicle’s position between the lines in the road ahead and can alert you if you’re starting to edge out of your lane. Having trouble staying
on track? After you’ve drifted a few times, you’ll see a coffee cup icon, letting you know it’s time to take a break.
ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
Few driving situations can feel as tedious as stop-and-go traffic. Enter available Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Adjustable Speed Limiting Device (ASLD). You can think of it as next-level cruise control. Not only
does ACC help you keep pace on your journey, it also stops or slows down your vehicle if the traffic ahead has stopped or slowed.
FORWARD COLLISION WARNING
Standard Forward Collision Warning can alert you if it senses a potential collision with a vehicle in front of you. A display flashes on the windshield and provides an audible warning. If you don’t react in time, the
brakes will precharge and increase brake-assist sensitivity to provide full responsiveness when you do brake.
POST-COLLISION BRAKING
This standard driver-assist feature can potentially lessen the severity of a secondary collision by automatically applying moderate brake pressure when an initial collision event is detected.
AUTO HIGH-BEAM HEADLAMPS
We’ve all been there. Heading into a pitch-black stretch of road and having to turn on the high beams – then forgetting to turn them off again as oncoming traffic approaches. Now, unlit roads, dark peripheries and other
low-visibility situations don’t have to catch you off guard. Standard Auto High-Beam Headlamps can sense poor lighting conditions and switch on to light your path ahead. They can even sense oncoming headlights and dim
automatically so you don’t have to worry about blinding other drivers. So you can keep your focus – and both hands on the wheel.
BLIS® (BLIND SPOT INFORMATION SYSTEM) WITH CROSS-TRAFFIC ALERT AND TRAILER COVERAGE
It’s rush hour on the highway. You’re towing a trailer. And you need to change lanes. If this situation sounds daunting, it usually is. But available BLIS with Cross-Traffic Alert and Trailer Coverage can help ease lane-change anxiety – even with a trailer in tow. It can alert you not only when a vehicle is spotted in your blind spot but also when one is alongside the trailer.
CARGO CAPACITY
Ford Transit Cargo Vans and new Crew Vans offer plenty of cargo space. Depending on what your job calls for, you can choose from three lengths, three roof heights and two wheelbases. Plus there is plenty of space for racks and bins for safe storage of tools, supplies, equipment and more.
POWER SLIDING DOOR
An available power sliding door is new for 2021 making for easy entry and exit. The power sliding door also contains an anti-pinch feature to help prevent injury.
ALL-WHEEL DRIVE
New for 2021 is available all-wheel drive (AWD). AWD balances torque between the front and rear wheels to enhance handling and maximize traction, typically before wheel slip can even occur. This helps keep your vehicle
sure-footed and you more confident on the job.
AUTOMATIC RAIN-SENSING WIPERS
The 2021 Transit comes with standard automatic rain-sensing wipers. They switch on automatically when they detect inclement weather to improve your visibility.
